"The best way I can describe my sound is melodic lyrics over abstract-atmospheric bass driven instruments. At times, it might sound like some weirdo shit but it's just me having fun, addressing my mental health and straddling the lines between escapism and reality."

Bio//
In Okinawa Japan, Sarita spent most of her high school career writing music and being a star athlete. As a daughter of a high-ranking Marine, Sarita learned discipline and perseverance that would be the guide for her career in the music industry. Each element of Sarita’s life has a story to tell and she transforms those elements into daily rhymes that all nationalities, creeds, genders and sexualities can relate to.
Those elements include sexuality spectrum, race and freedom of mind. Tupac influenced the young artist to write her opinions and trials with an unapologetic attitude to form her style of music. Each lyric possesses the emotions of that day, that hour and every minute of Sarita’s rollercoaster life.
As an activist for equal rights and understanding, Sarita fights for people to know about different cultures and understanding how the minds of others work. Self-love and perseverance don’t come in a color nor sexual preference and Sarita feels as though this is what makes a person human and builds their character.

“Being on stage…it’s better than a lot of things. To feel like people are connecting with you- a mass of people are just connecting with you at the same time-nothing else can compare to that.”

'I’m an independent artist with big dreams, defined visions but open to collaborate and learn."I’ve been holding back too long on putting out material and I really want to present myself in the best way possible.”
